 Meet our technical team:

Danny Sharick – Senior Field Service Technician/Fire Protection Inspector, is a senior inspection technician and team leader. He is a Marine veteran, which is evident in his approach to the job; ability to get work done for customers in a timely manner, training style of team members and keeping the team on task. He has over twenty-five years of experience with inspections, installations, and repairs of all fire protection systems. Danny is a great asset to our team because he has worked for many major fire protection companies, he remembers almost every building he has been in, and is able to recall key information about their systems. Danny is trained in the service and repairs of the fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler suppression systems, backflows, kitchen hood suppression and fire extinguishers.

Chris Valverde, Field Service Technician, has grown his skills impressively in his first year in the fire protection field. In his last position he worked for two years as a technician in a manufacturing company.  Prior to that he worked for over two years in the restaurant field. In his time with New Mexico Fire, he has shown a great deal of initiative and energy and is working hard to learn and grow in inspecting all fire protection systems, and servicing fire sprinkler systems. Chris takes pride in quickly, efficiently, and correctly servicing fire extinguishers and is licensed in backflow testing, which he has taken a special interest in.

George Schwartz, Senior Field Service Technician, has six years of experience in fire alarm installation in new construction and tenant improvements. He is a recent addition to our team, joining us from Arizona, and he has quickly proven his knowledge in all systems, especially fire alarms. He is skilled at diagnosing and repairing alarm systems and is growing rapidly in his ability to repair wet and dry fire sprinkler systems. He is proficient in inspecting fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, and backflows. Prior to his fire alarm position in the Phoenix area, George worked fifteen years for an acoustical ceiling tile company, demonstrating long term commitment to his work. George is working on achieving his NICET license in fire alarm.

Ian Carl, Field Service Technician, is another recent addition to our team. We knew right away, despite not having prior knowledge in fire protection systems, he would be a perfect fit. Ian shows great aptitude and ability to grow his knowledge immensely in all things fire protection. In past positions, he worked closely with security and door access systems, and installing coax cable. Since joining us here at New Mexico Fire Protection, he has hit the ground running in inspection training. He is always willing to learn something new, and in his short time here has already attended fire extinguisher, backflow, hood suppression system, and OSHA 10 training classes.

Jerod Trujillo, Senior Field Service Technician, is the newest addition to our team.  Originally from New Mexico, he recently moved from Nevada back to his home state. He has nine years of experience in fire protection, and over fifteen years of experience in security, data, and fiber optics.  Jerod works well with others, is a quick learner, and currently working on NICET licensing.  He has extensive knowledge about the wiring, and installation of fire alarms. In his previous position, he mainly worked with the construction of buildings as it pertained to fire alarm installation. He works hand in hand with George and Steve to increase his knowledge in diagnosing fire alarm system trouble. In his adult career Jerod is proud to have worked for only three employers – he has shown commitment to his employer, and we are so thankful to have him on the team.

Caitlin Armijo, Administrative Assistant, is responsible for essential tasks in both accounting functions and business management of the company.  She has a certificate from CNM in medical office reception, and through this she has expanded her knowledge in computer procedures, and interpersonal relations.
